To all farm-gate marketers,
Herewith we send you a short report of the Exklusive Hofsorten GmbH.
We have been testing new apple varieties since two years. This year we will harvest the first crop of our carefully selected varieties. This spring we have already planted more new varieties and so next year we will have a wide assortment to choose.
From a cultural point of view, the varieties have not shown any particularities or susceptibilities so far. This is also a sign of the high level of the new varieties we have tested.
Then:
But then comes the most important part of our evaluation. We will conduct the first consumer tests in our farm shops. The tests will be carried out strictly anonymously according to uniform principles!
And then it becomes apparent:
do the customers like the cultivation?
what do they say about the new cultivation?
Will they buy again?
Only then the real value of the apple varieties will be clear.
